My four year old nephew told me this past Saturday that he was a cowboy and that the only thing he needed was a pair of cowboy boots but that Santa was bringing him some this year. I tried not to crack a smile because I knew he was serious about the cowboy boots and about Santa bringing them to him so I asked him about what he wanted and he was able to describe in detail exactly what he expected them to look like. He is such a sweet little boy and later when he went outside to play I asked my brother about the cowboy boots and he said he’d seen a movie on television and decided that he wanted a pair of boots. Luckily my sister in law had found a pair of cowboy boots online but she was waiting to order them so that she could make sure she was getting the right size that he’d be wearing at Christmas time. I can’t help but smile when I think of Kevin in a pair of boots at his age. It’s going to be the most adorable thing ever.
