cowboy bootsMy friend has told me multiple stories about one of his coworkers who always wears a pair of cowboy boots when they go out for drinks after work. At work this guy adheres to the corporate dress codes wearing slacks and a collared shirt but when it’s time to let the hair down, he replaces black dress shoes for cowboy boots. Other than a pickup truck my friend would have never known this account manager had a cowboy side. That is the great part about seeing coworkers outside of work.

Tonight, I agreed to go out with my friend and his coworkers. We’re planning on a karaoke bar. Both of us hope this guy shows up in cowboy boots ready to sing some country ditties. I’ve never worn cowboy boots but assume they’re really comfortable. They look cool and have all sorts of ankle support so why not? It is time to go online and see if I can get myself a pair. If every guy in cowboy boots has as much fun as this coworker my friend tells me about than I’m in.
