My wife and I are so blessed and thankful for everything that we have, and each year when Thanksgiving rolls around we are able to afford to head down to her parent’s horse ranch in Texas for the holiday. I even recently got myself a new pair of cowboy boots that I found online for a really great bargain. You see, the last time that I was out there I did not have any cowboy boots to wear, and I ended up riding the horses anyways, but I found that it was a bit more difficult to do without a good pair of cowboy boots on my feet. This year, however, I aim to arrive there well prepared for the riding that I plan on getting in and enjoying during the brisk days that we will be there—where the weather is just perfect for a nice long ride on their huge plot of land and perhaps a romantic picnic lunch packed as well. Her father will laugh when he finds out I got some new cowboy boots, as he was the one teasing me last time I was out there for not having a pair.
