A few days ago when my brother was talking about how he needed to find a new western saddle, I’ll be the first to admit that I really had no idea what he was talking about. I do know what a western saddle is, but I have never spent any time thinking about where one actually buys one of those things. I’m embarrassed to say that I have always just thought of horses as coming with a western saddle. I didn’t tell my brother that, because I know he would have laughed at me until he couldn’t laugh anymore. Instead, I just played along and acted as though I knew all about what he was talking about. At some point he did ask me if I thought I could help him look online for a western saddle because he’d heard they could be bought there for a better price. I was more than happy to help him, and according to him the one we found was much cheaper than the one he’d seen at some western store. He ordered it and said he’d invite over to ride when the western saddle arrives. I’m not sure about that part, but I’m glad I could help.
