Last night my husband came home and handed me a western belt buckle. Since I rarely wear anything western, I wondered what on earth he was doing handing me the belt buckle, which was also fairly large. He picked me up, swung me around and said that I needed to pull the cowboy boots out of the back of the closet that we were going to a rodeo this weekend. At first, I thought he was kidding; simply because I’ve never been to a rodeo, but it didn’t take me long to find out that he was anything but kidding. He took the belt buckle and said that he was going to be wearing it the following night, and that it was one that his dad had given him when he’d stopped in to tell him about the rodeo tickets. I figure since I’ve never been that it could actually be fun, and if that’s the case then I’ll probably go online and order myself a belt buckle and other western wear. After all, if it isn’t my last rodeo then I’d better look the part.
