I was walking through the woods yesterday with my 14 year old daughter and we got on the subject of fashion. She always tries to keep up with the latest trends and yesterday she told me that she heard cowboy boots were going to be big this winter. I didn’t say much, mostly because I’ve never been a huge fan of cowboy boots and knew I wouldn’t be ordering any for myself, stylish or not. She did say that she would love to have a red pair of cowboy boots and that maybe it would be something she could ask for as a Christmas gift. I didn’t think that was a bad idea, and told her if she wanted cowboy boots for Christmas that she had time to think about it and let me know. I also knew that it would give me plenty of time to look online and see what kind of deals I could find on cowboy boots and bookmark them so that when it came time to do the shopping, I could pull up the site and order them for her.
