cowboy boots, belt buckleThere isn’t a single trip to the beach where I don’t see something surprising. Whether it is the guy on the sand by himself who fell asleep on the sand in jeans and a long sleeve shirt or the unicyclist flying through traffic on the strand trail, there is endless ammo for people watching down by the water. I never expected to see a dude in cowboy boots, a belt buckle catching the sun and cowboy hat moseying down the sand like the dude ranch was just around the corner. I imagine this guy was sweating bullets. It was about 3 in the afternoon and the sun was hot. This guy had a big smile smacked across his face though.

I almost expected a horse to be following behind. He was with what looked like his girlfriend. As they walked past the cowboy threw his cowboy boots off, tossed the hat aside, drop his shirt in the sand and ran into the water carrying his girl denim pants and all. That was funny. It is going to be sad when summer comes to end. It has been a great one.
